I guess inspiration probably comes from things we are passionate about so if your passion is science then that's where you're likely to get some great ideas, or at the very least, makes you feel happy and inspired and in a good writing mood. I'm a science research student, so I spend a lot of my day reading articles. Sometimes when I'm reading or even just discussing some of the newest or most exciting research, or even just basic things that I never knew before I get this immense urge to go write. I guess I just find science exciting, the world is an amazing natural place and when I discover a new way of looking at the world, I get excited and inspired to write. I find that one of the things that’s most likely to get me really inspired and writing isn’t something that most people would consider ‘creative’.
